Jennifer Lawrence (born 15 Aug 1990 in Louisville, Kentucky), is an American actress. She began her acting career starring in the television series The Bill Engvall Show. She won an Academy Award for her role in Silver Linings Playbook. Her other films include Winter's Bone, Joy, American Hustle with Amy Adams, Mother! with Michelle Pfeiffer, and the X-Men film series playing Mystique. Her role as Katniss Everdeen in The Hunger Games franchise made Lawrence a household name. In 2012 she was signed as the face of Dior fashions.
